Tatar Gallery was founded in 1996 for the purpose of promoting strong and innovative contemporary art worldwide. Our mandate includes a commitment to cultivating an encounter between collectors and artists demonstrating new trends in contemporary art, particularly works that boldly rearticulate established forms and works representing the direction into new media.
To better facilitate this encounter, Tatar Gallery maintains its exhibition programming in a unique space located at 600 King Street West, 4th Floor, Toronto. This exhibition venue provides a space of experimentation for Tatar Gallery and the artists it represents. More than just a promotion of the latest developments in contemporary art, our exhibition programming is designed to demonstrate new strategies in the presentation of art and to explore the ensuing spatial relationships. |
